The original quotebook began long ago, perhaps as far back as junior high (early 1980s). Eventually I began writing quotations into journals, then sometime around 1992 I began putting all quotes into a specific book. It has become relatively large.
I would like to think I knew exactly when some of them were written. One can learn a lot from what they perceive as a good quote. Unfortunately I did not have the foresight to mark down dates. Even today it is a habit I still neglect.
The quotes will be categorized. Some may upset, some may offend, some may elicit no response whatsoever. Whatever your response, this is my disclaimer. It is a series of brief glimpses of the type of person I am or have been at some time in the past. If you're offended then ask for an explanation. If you don't want to do that, then you're welcome to continue to fume, or you can always leave.
In any event the choice is yours.
